The Food Pyramid is No More!
Remember the food pyramid you had to learn in school? Well, that’s history. There’s finally an easier way for to everyone to learn how they should be eating to stay healthy.
It’s a plate!
The plate displays the recommendations of what you and your family should be eating everyday for every meal. Half of your plate should have fruits and veggies, a quarter of it protein (like chicken or lean meat), and the other quarter, a whole grain (brown rice, sweet potato, etc). Next to the plate is a cup of milk, to represent dairy. Check it out below!
