Additionally, some studies link this fruit to decreases in the risk of osteoporosis due to its high levels of calcium.

Tart Cherries are great to eat raw, or to drink. A recent study showed that this fruit is linked to belly fat reduction by the altering of the expression of genes responsible for fat storage. So if you are looking to shrink up that waist with a tasty snack, this fruit is definitely not a bad option.
